Welcome to the Workshop “Mapping Finnishness in the Thunder Bay Area”!

When: Tuesday, June 13, 2023, from 6 pm to 8 pm

Where: Suomi Koti Blue Room (527 County Blvd, Thunder Bay)

In this open & friendly workshop we will discuss, write, draw, and reflect on our memories & experiences of Finnishness in the Thunder Bay area. The workshop seeks to explore questions like: What places – past or present – represent Finnishness in the Thunder Bay area? Have the places of Finnishness changed over time? What makes these places Finnish?

Everyone is welcome and no experience or special skills are needed!
