New publication alert! Finnish Settler Colonialism in North America: Rethinking Finnish Experiences in Transnational Spaces

I’m excited to be part of a new collection of articles that delves into Finnish migration to North America in the context of settler colonialism. Finnish Settler Colonialism in North America: Rethinking Finnish Experiences in Transnational Spaces is co-edited by Rani-Henrik Andersson and Janne Lahti and features 10 new articles plus an Introduction by the editors and an Afterward by Prof. Gunlög Fur. My contrinution is “Life Writing as a Settler Colonial Tool: Finnish Migrant-Settlers Claiming Place and Belonging”. This is such a timely and important collection and it is openly available to download. Check it out on the University fo Helsinki’s website: https://hup.fi/site/books/e/10.33134/AHEAD-2/
